Delivering Durable Graphics for SUEZ Waste Collection Vehicles

When SUEZ launched a new fleet of 19 refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) destined for commercial waste routes across England, they needed a visual identity that matched their sustainability mission.
The first 14 vehicles arrived at the start of the rollout and with final marketing visuals coming together just days before delivery, timing was everything.
Despite the tight turnaround, we ensured the fleet hit the road looking sharp and on-message. Armed with a spreadsheet detailing which design was headed to which region, we left Mobad HQ at 5am the next morning with graphics packed and prepped, ready to meet the installers on-site in Gloucestershire and, by the end of that day, five of the vehicles had been wrapped, including the application of our vehicle safety sticker kits and SUEZ branded cab graphics.
Installing the graphics before the trucks started operating meant we could present each design at its best - clean, vibrant, and untouched by road grime. Getting the graphics on before the trucks started collecting waste was essential - once vehicles are in service, they’re much harder to clean properly on site; dirt gets into body joins and it’s difficult to achieve the same quality of finish. So, wrapping them fresh ensured the best possible result.
Behind the scenes, it took serious coordination. From late-night workshop prep to early-morning logistics, our small but dedicated team made it happen, ensuring every design was accounted for, every location matched, and nothing was left to chance.
The vehicle wraps feature the bold, clear campaign line:
“Waste management that doesn’t cost the earth.”
The creative was supplied by SUEZ and the visual impact is outstanding. Each design uses vivid nature photography to reinforce the environmental message with four striking themes: a whale, an owl, a hedgehog, and sunlit woodland.
In total, we produced 16 design variations — not only with different imagery, but also unique QR codes and contact details tailored to each vehicle’s location. That meant precise tracking, organised workflows, and complete clarity throughout the print and install process.
