Templeton Beer Wine & Spirit Co. – Heritage Meets Modern with New Wrapped Fleet Vehicles
When Templeton Beer Wine & Spirit Co. got in touch with us, they were at a bit of a crossroads. Their long-standing sign supplier had closed, and they were rethinking how they manage their vehicle fleet. Historically, their vehicles were painted in their recognisable brown and cream livery – and kept until the end of their life. But with more companies choosing to wrap rather than paint, Templeton decided to make the switch too.
Colour Change Vehicle Wrapping Makes More Sense
The biggest shift for Templeton was their new approach to vehicle turnover. Instead of holding onto vehicles long-term, they’ve switched to new, white vehicles and are wrapping them in company colours. That way, when it’s time to sell, the wrap can be removed to reveal pristine paintwork underneath, increasing the resale value and making the vehicle far more appealing to buyers. Let’s face it – no one’s queuing up to buy a used brown truck!
A New Look for a New Fleet
There was just one small hitch: Templeton’s RAL brown couldn’t be matched using standard wrapping films from any of the major vinyl manufacturers. So, we worked with them to find a new solution – and they chose Oracal’s Orient Brown Metallic. The subtle shimmer of the metallic finish brings a more modern look, while still nodding to the company’s long-standing heritage colours.
Two Mercedes Sprinters down, Two Isuzu Grafters to go…

We’ve just completed the first two wraps for Templeton – a pair of brand new Mercedes Sprinter chassis cabs. Next up are two Isuzu Grafters. Although the vehicles were fresh from the dealership, we still carried out our full prep process, which includes several hours of cleaning to remove any delivery residues, followed by carefully stripping components like door handles, window rubbers and bonnet vents. It’s the kind of detail that ensures a wrap looks as flawless as possible, especially over time.
A Modern Vehicle Wrap Finish that Respects Tradition
Working with Templeton has been a pleasure. They’ve managed to evolve their vehicle branding in a really smart way – preserving the visual identity their customers recognise, while embracing a modern solution that’s more sustainable and cost-effective in the long run. And judging by the smiles when the Sprinters were collected, we’d say they’re just as happy with the result as we are!
