For over 20 years, we have been producing vehicle graphics for Renault Trucks’ commercial division, supplying complete graphics kits to dealerships and branches across the UK.
Rather than relying on a loose set of brand guidelines interpreted by multiple suppliers nationwide, Renault Trucks chose to work with a single, head-office-approved graphics partner. The value of that approach is simple: consistency, quality control and long-term performance across a national dealer network.
Our production is supported by a rigorously audited quality management system, helping ensure consistency and traceability across every kit we supply.
Keeping Vehicle Branding Consistent Nationwide
We’ve seen first-hand what happens when vehicle graphics are produced locally without tight control. A red that’s “near enough” instead of the correct brand colour, a substitute typeface because the licensed corporate font hasn’t been purchased. Small shortcuts that might not be obvious in isolation but become glaring when vehicles are viewed side by side or subject to a brand standards check.
Centralising production with one supplier removes that risk. Every Renault Trucks graphics kit we produce is colour-accurate, brand-compliant and manufactured to the same specification, whether it’s destined for a city dealership or a rural depot.
Material Choice and Long-Term Durability
Material selection plays a major role in how commercial vehicle graphics perform over time, particularly on trucks and vans that see heavy daily use.
For Renault Trucks kits, we use cast cut vinyl for all lettering and wording to ensure clean edges, dimensional stability and resistance to shrinkage. The large wrap colour blocks are produced using 3M 2080 wrap film which delivers fantastic durability along with ease of installation. Rear chevrons are specified in 3M Diamond Grade reflective, providing high visibility, compliance and long-term performance in demanding operating conditions.
This considered combination of materials means each element is chosen for how it behaves over the life of the vehicle, not simply for convenience at the point of production.

Competitive Pricing Without Compromising Quality
There’s often an assumption that using a head-office-approved supplier automatically means higher costs. In reality, dealerships are frequently surprised by how competitive our kits are.
We produce vehicle graphics every day, not just for Renault Trucks but for a wide range of commercial fleets. That consistency helps us keep costs sensible and avoid waste, without cutting corners on materials or finish.
By keeping things standardised and well organised, we’re able to offer clear, fair pricing. That makes it easier for depots to use the approved graphics without feeling like they’re paying a premium, while still getting a product that’s built to last.
Approved Graphics Kits and Dealer Ordering
To support the Renault Trucks network, we produce a head-office-approved brochure listing all available graphics kits and pricing. This is distributed to every dealership and branch across the UK both in print and electronically several times a year.
The range covers everything from courtesy car graphics and parts and service delivery vans through to promotional wraps and full HGV breakdown and recovery vehicle kits. Each kit is personalised to the operating depot at the point of manufacture.
The electronic version of the brochure includes a simple digital order form, allowing dealerships to submit accurate orders quickly and efficiently.

Delivering Consistent Results Across the Network
Among the most commonly ordered kits are the 24/7 breakdown graphics and parts and service van kits.
While the breakdown kits appear straightforward once installed, they are actually quite involved. To help ensure consistent results and reduce installation issues, each kit is supplied with a detailed eight-page fitting guide, developed through years of experience and installer feedback.
Our average turnaround time is around five working days from order to dispatch, with graphics kits shipped to dealerships and branches across the UK. This allows depots to keep vehicles moving while maintaining consistent branding standards.
Renault Trucks head office regularly reviews dealership branding and vehicle presentation, and the difference between centrally supplied kits and locally produced alternatives is always clear. Vehicles fitted with Mobad-supplied graphics consistently perform better over time, particularly in demanding commercial environments where durability and finish really matter.
Working Collaboratively With Dealerships and Installers
We understand that dealerships often have long-standing relationships with local sign companies and may prefer to use installers they already know and trust. That’s completely reasonable, and it’s something we’ve encountered many times over the years.
Rather than forcing a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, we’ve focused on being collaborative and supportive. Our role is to ensure the graphics themselves are correct, consistent and built to last. How they’re installed can remain flexible.
We regularly work alongside local sign companies across the UK, supplying approved kits while providing technical guidance where needed. This allows dealerships to continue working with their preferred installers, while still maintaining Renault Trucks’ brand standards and material specifications.
Over time, this approach has helped remove much of the initial resistance. Installers value receiving well-prepared, accurately kitted graphics with clear instructions, and dealerships benefit from consistent results without losing local relationships.
Many of these installer contacts now also support us with installation work for other large fleet clients across the UK, reinforcing the value of cooperation rather than competition.
